Please note: The northern Coromandel has high rainfall, and a sub-tropical environment, and narrow coastal gravel roads - the stuff of adventure!
Our climate and volcanic past create our luxuriant rainforest and dramatic scenery.
But we can also experience road closures due to heavy rain causing flooding and slips, as our terrain is very fragile - this is the price we pay for living in such an undeveloped and pristine part of New Zealand.
So we do apologise if we have to cancel your tour for safety reasons.  You will be given a full refund if you have pre-paid, or you may transfer your trip to another date.
