Coromandel Weekender

Travel by ferry on Friday night to the Coromandel for two days of adventure and relaxation. Our weekend package includes return ferry and tours. 

Friday night – Auckland to Coromandel Town
Cruise by 360 Discovery ferry from downtown Auckland to Coromandel Town - a journey of two hours.

Saturday - Coromandel Coastal Walkway tour
We’ll collect you from your accommodation in Coromandel Town at 8:30am and bus you to the top of the peninsula to start the Coromandel Coastal Walkway.  You will be returned to your accommodation between 5.00pm and 6.00pm.

Sunday - Heritage Tour
Spend a leisurely morning enjoying Coromandel town and then join the afternoon Heritage tour that includes visits to:

Driving Creek Railway & Potteries. Here visitors travel a narrow-gauge mountain railway for 3 kilometres through re-planted native forest to the ‘Eyefull Tower’ with its breathtaking 360 degree views of the Coromandel harbour, Hauraki Gulf and surrounding hills.

Coromandel Gold Stamper Battery and Gold Centre: Using the largest working water wheel in the Southern Hemisphere, rock is crushed to extract gold and silver. There’s plenty to see! 

The tour will return in time to meet the 4.30pm ferry to Auckland.  Arrive back into Auckland at 6.30pm.
